It is coming. Yes Halloween and I can't wait. Something about the kid in me still enjoys dressing up even if it is just to hand out candy or take the little ones trick or treating. I really love it and the fact that I still look like a middle school kid dressed up allows me to really stock up on treats. I still get a kick out of it when all the adults tell me that my little sisters are sooo cute. I don't even bother telling them that they are my children. Too funny.
To me today is like Monday because of the holiday so I am starting my week off today. I am excited as I will be posting new items to my shop today and posting a few things to my new store. I have alot of exciting things happening for me right now. I hope that exciting things are happening for you too. Last month was a long and hard month for me and I want to apologize for the lack of post lately it has been so hectic around here. But it has calmed down.
I am so glad that September is here that means that Autumn isn't far away. This is my favorite time of year, I love the weather change and the colors. Well the colors just look great on me plus I love love love sweaters. I live in Tennessee and the leaves are already starting to change and drop off. I am over joyed by this as I can't wait to do a photo shoot with my girls in the leaves. This season is really something to see. I lived in Texas till last summer and we had hardly any color on our fallen leaves, so when I say that there's a sight to be seen there really is. Fall isn't here just yet but you can tell it's on it's way.

So I have been a busy little bee getting ready to open my new store Cherry Marie. It is still a work in progress but it is coming along nicely. I hope to get it up and running in the next week or so. I have been crafting for weeks, that doesn't mean that I have a whole lot done. But it is getting there. I have also been working on my Christmas cards and they are coming out breath taking. I will have some of them posted in my shop by the end of this week. I think this years cards just might be the best yet. I am so excited about all that is going on. In a past post I said that I felt like a little cloud was following me raining on me everywhere I went. Well the rainbow has made it's grand appearance and I feel much better and on top of the world.

Today the weather is just gloomy, it seems like the rain clouds are not only outside today. There is one following me around my house pouring down on me. You know they say when it rains it pours well it is storming around here. I won't bore you with the details but life is just hard for us right now. It seems like we are always a few steps behind where we need to be. So today I tried to find items that expressed the weather and the mood I am in. With the rain and gloomy greys. I know life will get better and that to have a pretty rainbow you first have to have the storm.
